NATALIE COLE'S CAUSE OF DEATH: HEART FAILURE

We lost Natalie Cole just a few days ago.

Now we know why she died. Natalie suffered from a rare lung disease that caused her to have a heart failure.  She suffered from Idiopathic Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension. (IPAH) Natalie was responding well to PAH agents but eventually they didn't help.
Here is what the family had to say:

“This is a very serious and progressive disorder, Natalie responded well to PAH-specific agents over many years, during which she performed many concerts world-wide, but eventually succumbed to intractable right heart failure, an outcome that unfortunately commonly occurs in this progressive disorder, despite modern therapies.”
